What is The Black Hammer?
“Black Hammer is an organization focused on building Black Power. Under the leadership of the African proletariat, our mission is to use our collective building power to strengthen all sectors of the African Nation.
“Currently, our physical and intellectual labor is being coerced to build for the capitalist white colonial state, but it can be redirected to a noble cause.
“We will organize our labor to be of service to our people. Our symbol, the Black Hammer represents breaking the chains of imperialism and building a sustainable future for all African people worldwide.”
- Gazi Kodzo and Diakiesse Lungisani, co-founders of The Black Hammer; mission statement
The Black Hammer is a grass root revolutionary organization that aims to unite and liberate the African Nation through the means of using the talents, intellect, and manual labor of the African proletariat. The founders and committee of the organization are developing the theory of African Proletariat Collectivism as the compass that will lead the African Nation towards liberation, completing the revolution of the 60’s that was defeated by the U.S. government!
Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, the hometown of Chief Gazi, the organization can physically reach the African working class in neighborhoods such as West End, College Park, East Point, Lithonia and many more.
Having already organized protests defending Black children, namely 12-year-old Atlanta Lil C Note for his brutal arrest by Cobb County Police pigs at the Cumberland Mall in October 2018─The Black Hammer has wasted no time in speaking up for the Black community.
The organization currently has about 25 members and aims to have at least 100 members by the end of the summer. The Black Hammer believes in the People and does not aim to avoid the Black community, because it is the Black community.
Although the organization is based in Atlanta, The Black Hammer has Comrades in New York, Savannah, GA, North Carolina and other parts of the U.S.
The membership is open, and the organization is led by Africans all over the globe.
“The goal of Black Hammer is to go down into every ghetto, project, slum and gully and organize African people to help them recognize their interests in overthrowing parasitic capitalist imperialism and its neo-colonial operatives, guaranteeing the unification and liberation of Africa and African people under the leadership of the African Proletariat.”
- Gazi Kodzo and Diakiesse Lungisani, co-founders of The Black Hammer
