Hammers from across the united snakkkes came together to serve the people of NOLA once again! Our first round was to deliver much needed aid to victims of Hurricane Ida
Our Defense team ensured the safety of the comrades on the trip throughout with little to no problems appearing.
As we entered New Orleans, the destruction and recovery was still visibly seen as blue tarps covered nearly every other house.
The first task on the list was to serve our people! Hitting up the hood door to door with some free grits and an invitation to our event in which we would be giving out even more supplies!
More than this, we wanted to hear what our folks had to say.
Hammers worked in teams to get the job done and make the most of our time, receiving so much love and support from the poor working class Colonized folks already within the first few hours of our arrival!
The people had a lot to say about the situation that’s been going on and we were blessed to be able to hear from them.

At the event itself, we gave out clothing, water bottles, care packages and most importantly political education through our Four Principles of Unity. The park was packed and receptive to revolution with so many salutes from crowds within the park!
Though we had lots of resources left over, we made sure to push through this contradiction and found a tent city under a bridge in New Orleans so that we could make the most of our trip and serve the people that need it most.
Here we were able to empty out a whole U-Haul full of supplies, giving out hella care packages, KN95 masks and the tools to organize.
One of the homies even recognized us just as we were about to leave, joining the organization and becoming a Hammer!
Our hard work paid off and it was time to celebrate this win for the revolution so we hit up Bourbon Street.

Overall the trip’s goal to create a self-sustaining chapter is looking like it has been met with the high amount of connections made.
The people are fed up with the white power state leaving them behind and are ready to take up their own leadership to fight back; so should you!
