Ida has just passed through and caused immense damage to Louisiana and Mississippi as the hurricane tore off roofs and even electrical towers.
Arriving on the coast as a Category 4 hurricane according to the National Hurricane Center, winds were expected to reach just over 140 mph but the hurricane has now weakened into a tropical depression.
Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee has said “the worst case scenario seems to have happened” in Louisiana with officials also saying portions of the St. Charles Parish are “highly likely” to be without power for a month.
Even with the forecasts showing an imminent disaster, this government never made a mandatory order of evacuation for our people to leave.
Instead, these bleach demons told residents to “shelter in place” and await the sure-to-be late rescue teams and efforts.
Alabama has already issued tornado warnings for two counties, already there are millions left without electricity (including all of New Orleans!), massive floods destroying housing and even more lasting damage.
This situation is making many working class Colonized people of New Orleans remember the disaster from Hurricane Katrina making it’s landfall 16 years ago to the day.
Even though a mandatory evacuation was made for New Orleans before Katrina hit, there was no aid attempt made to help the poor Colonized community that was left behind.
Only 3 years ago, Hurricane Harvey destroyed 16,786 homes and killed 82 as the white power state left Colonized communities to fend for themselves, yet again, this time in Houston, Texas.

Many of our people didn’t have the means to evacuate 16 years ago. Today, we see the same situation playing out for our people. But not exactly the same!
Black Hammer members are currently heading to Louisiana to deliver food, toiletries, water, KN95 masks, and more! This is the first trip multiple times to make sure our people are safe!
We need funds ASAP to continue delivering to the masses quick and speedy aid! You can donate on Cashapp and Venmo at BHATLANTA.
Our mission is not just to deliver resources but, as Secretary General has put it, teach the Colonized masses that it is we who have the power to protect our communities, who will be the leaders that refuse to stand by and watch as the colonizer leaves our communities to die.
You don’t have to join to be a leader; donating is one way you can directly help the survivors of this unprepared and illegal government! Don’t sit by as communities suffer; be a revolutionary today by donating!
