When we say the empire is crumbling, we mean it literally y’all. Today June 23rd, a pedestrian bridge collapsed in Washington DC, injuring six people. Four of those people even had to be taken to the hospital.
According to news reports, the bridge collapsed at I-295 in Northeast Washington DC at around 12:30 pm across all three lanes.
A truck carrying 500 gallons of diesel was trapped underneath the bridge and started leaking fuel. Roughly 25 gallons of that fuel then spilled into nearby drains and material had to be put down to absorb that fuel before it entered the waterways, according to a spokesperson from the DC Department of Energy & Environment.
Black Hammer recognizes this as just another day in the crumbling colony, full of grief and unnecessary pain. Had there been care taken in the construction of this bridge, regular checkups to see the quality and assess any signs of collapse or aging, this tragedy could have been avoided.
But under colonial capitalism the bottom line is to make profits at whatever the cost, including at the cost of lives and at the expense of our environment, as some of the diesel oil surely managed its way into the waterway systems.
To this system, Colonized people are nothing more than numbers, our planet nothing more than something to use and abuse but we’re changing that for good as we continue to build for the future of all Colonized people and living beings on the planet!

The colony is CRUMBLING. It’s times like these I look to China and DPRK for their architecture which is not only aesthetically pleasing but measured to ensure it is adequate and can do the job. I love to imagine how architecture will look in a free Turtle Island.
Why was there no mention in this article of the fact that the neighborhood this happened in is
in inhabited by predominately Black/African colonized people? Many of these articles also seem to shy away from saying “Black”. Why?
Hey thanks for the read and comment! To answer the second questions, we say African because black people worldwide represent the land that they represent, Africa. Colonialism has stripped us away from and tried to coverup our histories and ancestry from us. We understand Africans were displaced due to colonialism everywhere, from Pachamama (“south amerikkka”) to Cuba and Turtle Island (“north amerikkka”).
