Last Tuesday afternoon, an African man was caught in the stabbing of two elderly Asian women in San Francisco while they were waiting for their bus.
This is a heart-wrenching incident of violence, but we at Black Hammer know that the moment anyone mentions conflict between Black and Asian people (or between any Colonized groups), white power is successfully dividing us to be weaker. This incident is distressing in particular, noting the long history of this settler-colonial state in creating and sowing deep divisions between Black and Asian peoples living in Turtle Island (“north amerikkka”) and between Colonized people worldwide; the root of all Colonized people’s discontent, pain, and problems lies with the white genocidal settler state of amerikkka.
Such attacks within the colony we call the united snakkkes represent nothing more than white power acting in black and brown face—the definition of neocolonialism—to further divide Colonized people. Colonial media outlets, no matter right-wing or left-wing, shout extremely racist views against China and other Asian nations, spewing Sinophobic imperialist bull$hit against Asian peoples and their nations to justify further colonization of the pacific.
As a result, Colonized peoples have a belief being embedded in them from the colony and its corrupting propaganda that Asian people are their enemy because, once again, the white man has pinned us against each other and painted a new target upon a Colonized community to sow divides in the power of our unity as Colonized people. With the cold war against the People’s Republic of China gearing up to a full-on confrontation, it’s no wonder the hatred and violence being spread abroad has consequences here in amerikkka.
The colony has weaponized its media attacking the PRC because it poses a threat to the empire’s power and colonialism as a whole. Thus, they breed divisions within our people so that the power of our unity can’t be utilized to achieve our liberation but those days are no more because our people are a good people and a powerful people. We will unite to overturn the system, which has its knee on all of our necks through our 4 Principles of Unity. We will unite to smash this system and build a world where no one lives at the expense of another.
The colonial media networks, in their racist justifications for locking up a Colonized person to benefit the prison industrial complex, love to paint any Colonized person as violent, psychotic, and worthy of rotting in jail when we know horizontal violence stems from the colony and the sick conditions it forces upon us in this genocidal hell.
How does this colony want us to respond to this incident? They aim to create unrest between different Colonized communities within the united snakkkes, wishing to benefit greatly from spreading anti-Black rhetoric by portraying yet another Black man as unstable and violent. By doing so, the state has gained another slave in their death-centered carceral justice system. The state drools at the thought of keeping us Colonized people overwhelmed with fear and having distrust of one another, struggling to solidify the collective Colonized unity and power needed to out-organize it.
For hundreds of years, colonizers have bred divisions purposefully, instilling homophobia, sexism, transphobia, Sinophobia, and anti-Blackness, all to divide and conquer our communities. Without such divide and conquer tactics, white power could never be successful, considering that these colonizers make up less than 10% of the world’s population. Neocolonial manifestations of race science the euro-peons invented 400 years ago to dominate and pillage the world is the foundation of Colonized disunity in Turtle Island.
Whether that division comes in the form of an African stabbing innocent bystanders or Africans attacking eloteros (Indigenous workers who work for a living giving out antojitos, snacks for the Indigenous “latino” community), we need to get to the root of the problem. Colonized people hating each other for the horizontal violence we experience will never end the violence and genocide of colonialism; Colonized UNITY will.
This is why at Black Hammer, we are united against colonialism and ALL of its divisions, including Sinophobia, anti-Asian and anti-African racism, because we know the true enemy Colonized people face are colonizers and their system of colonialism pillaging our lands, lives, labor, and resources. Our Second Principle of Unity states that ALL Colonized poor and working-class people are equal, no matter what divisions the colony creates; regardless of skin tone, race, body type, gender, and sexual identity.
Join Black Hammer, the vanguard of Colonized liberation today, to build a world where no one lives at the expense of another and end this horizontal and horrific violence within our communities. Smash the colony breeding these divisions, this violence and the suffering that has plagued Colonized people ever since the bleach demons of europe left their rock to steal all that was ours 600 years ago and be the revolutionary that our people need!
