Over ten million people within the state of Texas and beyond have been heavily affected by horrible winter storm Uri paired with forced power outages, water shortages, food insecurity, and denied access to warm spaces.
Disaster in the united snakes is inevitable. This latest storm and similar events will continue to threaten poor and working-class colonized people when they live in a system that prioritizes profits over lives. That system has led to Colonized people seeking shelter from their frozen homes, with no heat or running water, only to be preyed upon by ridiculously high prices—prices as high as $900 a night—at motels taking advantage of our desperation.
A Colonized Vietnamese mother even lost three children and her own mother to a house fire after attempting to keep her house warm with a fireplace. An indigenous mother lost her son to freezing temperatures as the child succumbed to hypothermia.
As all the chaos unfolds, where are the “leaders” of the state, and what do they think?
State rats, such as greg abbbott and turd cruz are currently doing nothing to aid people across Texas, leading to mass death. It’s time for our people to stop waiting on a government that only incites their genocide. Colonialism conspired against our people in Texas by turning out their lights and draining their access to resources.
In fact, turd cruz fled to Cancun, citing family time with his daughters as the reason for visiting, surely not to escape the freezing temperatures and to avoid the current catastrophe plaguing the Colonized folks of Texas. Just like in 2005, after countless African and colonized people were abandoned to die in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the white ruling class turns a blind eye unless it can squeak out a profit from our corpses.
The then-mayor of Colorado City, a colonizer, named tim boyd, had to resign for telling people that “only the strongest will survive”. In a Twitter tantrum that would cost little timmy his job, he told Colonized people that the state owes them nothing and that they deserve to die.
As Black Hammer’s Secretary-General Anco pointed out in the latest episode of OhMyGazi, “those power lines that you see up haven’t been updated since 1950. Most of the time, all power grids operate at full capacity at any given moment, night and day…this is how the rest of the next decade will look like…a lot of people are going to suffer unless we take matters into our own hands.”

Many self-proclaimed white “leftists” are showing their racist ass, insisting that people in Texas deserve what they’re going through for simply living in a “red state”, mocking the suffering of Colonized people since they make up a majority, more than half, of the population Black Hammer has done no such thing. We have mobilized and answered our suffering Colonized siblings’ call that went unanswered by colonizers enjoying our stolen wealth in Cancun.
This past Tuesday, Rally, on February 23rd, we raised funds to aid the Colonized poor working class of Texas, including our comrades there, who will be helping out on the ground.
We’ve already managed to deliver water over state lines to comrades in need through our dedication to the people. Showing our people what a dual contending power looks like, and that means taking care of our own. Utilizing our international committees of Defense and Campaigns, we organized and provided for our Comrades and the Colonized Masses where this colonial state refuses in order to continue the genocide of our people every day.
