Cishet Men Aren’t Trash, Colonialism IS

By Chiefs Tureyel and Mase

Before the white colonizer cis-men think we are talking about them, allow us to clarify —

All white people are trash. We are talking about unity with colonized cis-men.

Now that we have that out of the way, Colonialism is one hell of a parasite. It sucks the life from everything it touches and births a sickness that attacks colonized people to this very day. Every pain, every humiliation, and every division is a symptom of the disease of colonialism—just as our Four Principles of Unity tell us.

Colonized folks know that these symptoms are foul.

Patriarchy and misogyny are old symptoms and painful ones, but they came from the same sickness that produced homophobia, transphobia, colorism, and all other divisions amongst Colonized people. The same sickness that built the prison pipeline, trafficking millions of colonized people into cages, is the same sickness that teaches us to hate each other and ourselves.

It doesn’t matter which symptoms you suffer from. It’s all produced by the same parasitic virus— colonialism.

White power colonialism creates and fosters divisions within ourselves, our people and us, our organizations, and our nations. We need to remember that colonized people and nations’ contradictions should be struggled with through peace and unity. However, the struggle between the colonized and the colonizer, the oppressed and the oppressor, must always be through anti-colonial revolution.

Colonial powers breed and crave divisions within our unity. It is our disunity and divisions with one another as Colonized people and nations that cause us to commit horizontal violence against one another when we should be focusing all of our collective strength on our common enemy, the colonizer.

Our oppressors know that our disunity as Colonized people keeps us from achieving dictatorship over our land, lives, labor, and resources, not just for ourselves but for ALL Colonized people.

We must internalize and know that our strength to achieve liberation as oppressed people is directly connected through the colonized masses’ unity.

3. We believe all the problems the colonized face are from colonialism and the submissive neocolonialists that are within our colonized nations.

Colonized, cisgender, heterosexual men are my allies, my people, my comrades. It’s not “cishetness” that is my enemy. Colonialism is my enemy!

Colonized cishet men are not the root of enslavement and genocide across the world. Colonialism is!

Colonized cishet men did not bring us to the doorstep of total climate catastrophe.

Colonialism did!

Don’t be the Feds

Colonizers have spent six hundred years dividing us. It’s why the colonizer in your head screams at you to find a flaw in your people and in the masses of colonized people everywhere. The colonizer in your head tells you to see your people as unsavable or unworthy of our love, unity, and struggle.

That voice is just another symptom of colonialism.

Why listen to colonialism about Colonized cis men? That’s like listening to the cancer to find the cure! To do so isn’t just a contradiction with our 2nd Principle of Unity, but a direct material hindrance to bringing about liberation for all Colonized people.

We can only cure this colonial cancer through internalizing and practicing this anti-colonial revolutionary theory. Revolution is the only place to go to cleanse yourself of all these ills. We cannot allow our individual biases or traumas to manifest into an excuse for divisionism within Colonized unity. That’s doing the Feds work for them.

Upholding colorism within Colonized communities IS FED WORK.

Upholding transphobia within Colonized communities IS FED WORK.

Upholding patriarchy within Colonized communities IS FED WORK.

Upholding divisions within Colonized communities IS FED WORK.

The contradiction of division can only be overturned through the struggle of Colonized poor and working-class UNITY. Period.

Our African queer comrades who are statistically kicked out of home more by African mothers can’t allow for their own personal trauma’s to lead to disunity with Colonized African mothers.

Our non-men comrades who suffer trauma after trauma after trauma from cis-men can’t allow these individual experiences to lead to disunity with Colonized cis-men. That is what the colonizer wants.

The root to why we are all f**ked up is COLONIALISM, not because of certain divisions that the colonizer tells us or our subjective trauma’s from those “divisions”. There are no divisions between Colonized people, and our theory puts that to practice.

It is our Principles of Unity that keep our people united and strong against the cancer of colonialism.

Revolutionaries see no divisions in Colonized Unity.

4. We believe that the Colonized Proletariat is the only true proletariat. Only through our leadership can white power, capitalism, colonialism, imperialism and all its symptomatic offspring be smashed.

In order to overturn all of the symptomatic offspring of colonialism, we must have principled leadership that is dedicated to eliminating, overturning, and destroying colonialism and all its symptoms.

That means colonized men in leadership must be just as dedicated to eliminating and tearing down misogyny towards colonized women.

That means colonized trans folks must fight alongside cis folks to end the colonial gender binary.

That means colonized people with lighter complexions must fight alongside people with darker complexions to overturn colonial colorism.

Colonized people with mental and physical differences must come together through leadership to end their divisions with neurotypical and non-disabled people.

Colonized people with parents from different Colonized nations must end the divisions of bi/multiracial people alongside colonized people with parents from the same nation.

No matter what individual identities we have, we must be dedicated as equals to stopping all the symptoms of colonialism. Internalizing this political line is key to unite our ancestor’s struggles and is the only solution to overturn the contradiction of colonialism.

The only real division on this earth is the divisions between the colonizer and the Colonized, the oppressor and the oppressed. To divide our unity based on individual identities is to serve the wants and desires of white power colonialism, whether you know it or not.

Unity is our strength!

When Cuba sent soldiers to Angola, it was a powerful, global statement of Colonized unity against the colonial division of multiracial, Indigenous, and African people who had also been divided by location due to the middle passage. This was a show of global solidarity in favor of decolonizing the continent as a nation.

When Iran sent five oil tankers to help Venezuela’s people while the colonizers were sanctioning them in an act of war, there was solidarity from every Arab nation against colonialism.

When African people united with the Seminole people to fight against landlessness due to settler colonialism, that was colonized unity.

Malcolm X speaks about the world cooperation of colonized and fighting for liberation in his Speech, The Ballot, or the Bullet.

“When we look at other parts of this Earth upon which we live, we find that black, brown, red, and yellow people in Africa [Turtle Island] and Asia are getting their independence. They’re not getting it by singing, ‘We Shall Overcome.” No, they’re getting it through nationalism. It is nationalism that brought about the independence of the people in Asia. Every nation in Asia gained its independence through the philosophy of nationalism. Every nation on the African continent that has gotten its independence brought it about through the philosophy of nationalism. And it will take black nationalism to bring about the freedom of 22 million [Africans], here in this country, where we have suffered colonialism for the past 400 years.”

Malcolm X

Historically, Colonized people have been strongest when united. Just as Colonized nations are strongest when united. The power of colonialism comes directly from its divide-and-conquer strategy against Colonized poor and working-class nations.

This is why Black Hammer’s 2nd Principle of Unity is so important…

We believe all Colonized Proletariat are equal; no matter gender, sexuality, age, body type, location, religion, language, mental/physical differences and/or bi/multiracial identity.

It is only through the unity of the oppressed, Colonized people that we will smash this hell we live under called colonialism and usher in a world where no person lives at the expense of another.

The colonizer in our heads

Not one Colonized person is free from the symptoms of colonialism and the scars it leaves on the colonized body and mind.

The colonizer in our heads is the toughest enemy to fight in the revolution, as it convinces Colonized people to scar each other. This holds true for men, women, non-binaries, elders, and young; for Christians and for Muslims, whatever you might be. To lose faith in one sector of the masses is to lose faith with the masses as a whole, which is exactly what the colonizer in your head wants!

Kill the Colonialist in your Head

That’s why we all join the revolution as equals, why it’s of the highest importance to unite with every sector of the Colonized masses, and with the Colonized leadership of the revolution.

All forms of division within Colonized Unity are forms of NEOCOLONIAL TERRORISM. Black Hammer has a Security and Defense squad, and we believe in both forms of Political Education, verbal and physical. So do not do the feds work and try and cause divisions within Colonized unity, or Black Hammer will come for you.

Our Principles of Unity are the material cure for what divides us and is our first and last defense against the parasite of colonialism.

They serve as our light, scientifically guiding the path to liberation for ALL Colonized people.

So if you believe the Colonized Proletariat should have liberation, should have dictatorship over our lives, labor, land, and resources, then…

Don’t attack your cishet comrades. Attack that colonizer in your head!

Land back!
